Shravan Ghevda, also known as Haricot verts in French or Farasbee belongs to the legume family. Utilized extensively in India for fasting during the holy month of "Shravan" this crop produces lots of tasty pods. These green beans are longer and thinner than regular green beans. These are also thought to be more tender and more flavorful.
